back frm Dubai
sallah ma li kom? (how r u?) back in sg. i miss the char kuay teow, chicken rice, etc!!! the food is totally not my type coz they always have tis strong arabic taste? juz weird. however, the weather is gd. at nite u dun hafta on aircon but day gonna b like sg. u wun feel ur sweat coz it’s low humidity but hafta apply moisturiser otherwise ur skin will crack/peel like me.
1st day was the most exciting n used up the most memory in cam coz visit the Burj Al Arab, tallest hotel n the most gorgeous hotel! after tt was dune ride at the desert. nv seen tt b4 so snapped lotsa pics there too. however, the ride made me sick. almost puke n had no appetite so ate lil also becoz there’s beef n mutton tt i nv eat. shivered while watching the belly dancing coz it’s 22 degrees only *cold* had henna n smoked shisha for the 1st time but very memorable. dubai looks alot like sg wit lotsa high rise buildings but no HDBs, all bungalows.
2nd day was to Nahkeel, the organisation tt built The World, The Palm, upcoming 8th Wonder! amazing eh? i guess many ppl know nuts abt it. visited the Mall of the Emirates, the temp biggest shopping mall in Dubai but no time to shop! how sad. only an hr how to get things? wasted. i missed my quiksilver, billabong shops! no chance to get my surfer pants there =(
3rd day was to logistic city n some talks. BORING!!! but we got a chance to shop for some stuff at the souks (a name for markets). bought some souvenirs n nth for myself again. i always think of wat to buy back for ppl b4 thinking for myself.
4th day to Women Colleage. they aint tt hostile n conservative as we tot. they r xtremely crazy upon seeing us n very friendly! pretty as well. hehe. got their email adds. shall keep contact wit them in case i’ll visit Dubai again. after tt was shopping til dinner time! hooray!! but the souk tt we went to again has nth to buy. however, bought more souvenirs. the very last min then i bough anklet n keychain for myself. i still miss the billabong shop. went back to hotel n pack luaggage. hafta sit on top in order to close it. too packed! haha. nite went over to peggy’s room n chitchat coz we dun wan to slp but yiwen penny n jess failed. they dozed off. left shaun alwyn peggy n i still awake crapping. went back to room at 445 to prepare. 530 hafta leave the room *yawn* board the flight only at 840 (Dubai’s time. sg-1240pm) -_- reached sg in 7hrs, 840pm (sg time) the meals were better than the previous i had when to DxB. we created havoc on the plane. running abt taking pics =X hehehe. crazy SB-ians. touched dwn n i missed Dubai *cries* took 200+pics there, all uploaded on my photo gallery. can take a look!
tml attachment. can’t adjust my mood to work yet. had too much fun in Dubai, tt’s y. scared tt my colleagues will b unfriendly n supervisor super strict but luckily experienced sales line b4. pray hard i dun b bullied again! hols burnt becoz of work!
